I've been teaching Chess for 3 years at the Russian Chess School, now I study law and sometimes teach law at the University. On average, I spend 1 to 3 hours preparing and customizing each lesson, so I put an emphasis on understanding the different needs of each student. I believe one of the reasons why 95% of my students continue to have a second lesson with me, is the fact that I received tutoring for 12+ years of my life. Hence, I understand how it feels to be on the other end of the table. What I find really rewarding is the camaraderie I share with my tutees, and my success in increasing their confidence and motivation towards the subject. Many of my students became very strong chess players. My main goal in giving lessons - to teach and study. I teach my students chess (or other subjects) and my students teach me english - the cooperation is very important for me, and as a consequence, I set a low price for my lessons. I like various mind games and sports: from solving mysteries, reading philosophy, playing chess to soccer, volleyball, swimming. I'm a multicultural person, and I welcome, admire and respect all cultures, all histories, all mankind.
