I consider self education more effective. The only disadvantage is that one have to just trust that self-educated person has certain skills, for there are no diplomas or certificates.
Experience
Approximately one year of teaching young (Russian) children to speak English(using linguosocial/communicative approach). Why do I want to be a tutor? Well, first of all I am good at teaching people, helping them in achieving their goals. Being a tutor I feel that I am useful to the society, participating in its development by educating its members. Who knows, maybe my guidance will become a crucial factor that will change my pupil´s mind in a certain way and he or she will make something that is going to affect our society in a positive way
